These cell phone cases were started and finished over the course of two days. I chose a company, PURE.GEAR, and created these concepts after some initial research into brand language.
I started them on a Saturday and finished them on a Sunday. did these as part of a mock interview, in an attempt to rise above the other mock interviewees. I chose a company, PURE.GEAR, and created these concepts after some initial research into brand language. The final concepts represent a range from total brand cohesion to a more distant but relatable concept. Most of PURE.GEAR's cases have a generally rugged and bulky look and feel, with exposed fasteners. I created a concept that was in-line with this and then iteratively pushed the envelope farther in the other two concepts.
